Note reading instructional software

Do you want to teach your children to read music?

Do you want to learn to read the notes yourself?

You should look at Noteface.

Noteface is a program that will help you learn to read music. I wrote this program more than 10 years ago to help my kids learn to read music. I have a demo version of it that you can download by clicking here.

This freeware version will allow you to practice reading notes from the C major scale. Just select "Start playing game" from the Game menu and the musical notes will move from the right side of the screen to the left. Your job is to hit the correct note on the piano keyboard before the note gets to the left side of the screen. if you guess correctly Noteface will give you a little reward at the bottom of the screen. Wrong guesses will cost you one of your rewards and if you fail to guess before the note travels across the screen, well let's just say things get ugly.

If you want to buy the full version of Noteface, it only costs $10. You can get it by clicking on the "Buy now" button below.

I will email you the latest version for your trouble. The complete version includes a selectable bass or treble clef as well as any key signature that you would ever want to practice, plus many other features.

Recently added are the Tenor and Alto clefs as well as a Tonic Sol-Fa feature.

If you're not satisfied with Noteface, just email me and I will give you a full refund.
